CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER (aah bloggin at last)

Obama responded to the Mc Cain camp by saying, “These are the same people, (republicans), who got us in to this, (war), in the first place”, That is if to make it sound like democrats in the house and congress had some kind of deniability about the Iraqi war issue.

The Danger: Obama took 20 years, and a potential election loss to decide he didn’t want to be a part of that church any more! What America doesn’t need, is a President Obama who takes 20 years to change his mind when it comes to the urgent needs of our highly energy dependent economy.

On a more positive thread, I am very encouraged to see that, we the people, have Mc Cain’s ear, and not his earmark. If you read my blog, Reaganites, in Your Blogs, It is easy to see that I started out as a very sharp critic of John Mc Cain. Now I am very encouraged to see that, like Ronald Reagan, Mc Cain is listening to his constituency.

As Truman once said and wrote, “There is no limit to what a man can accomplish. as long as he doesn’t care who gets the credit.” In a true democracy, it is the American people who often deserve the credit. I haven’t heard anyone credit or praise, the constituency, since Ronald Reagan was president, and we certainly don’t get that form the media-gopoly, who praise themselves daily.

You're right.  The true liberal agenda is about  their global warming hype is to control us and force us into socialism.  First we must be economicaly weakened to the current point of near collapse.  Then media will convince everyone that the government can save us.

"Stay The Course" ?

Many conservative Americans remember the responsible and effective way President Reagan managed the American economy, and how his energy policies used to keep energy prices down. Rodger Hedgecock, a radio commentator on KOGO AM radio, reminded me that President Reagan brought our oil imports down to 30% and since Ronald Reagan left the presidency, US oil imports have risen 50 Percent. Thank-you Roger Hedgecock, for reminding the American listeners of how well Ronald Reagan managed America's economy considering America had just gone through an Arab oil embargo. We can point to this fact with much pride and assertion. The major American media networks have persistently and deliberately overlooked the many great achievements of Ronald Wilson Reagan. All this economic mayhem is the byproduct of anti growth environmentalists in the USA, who are interfering with oil and energy production in the United States. This religious propaganda of doom and gloom, anti-energy and anti-growth, is being peddled throughout America’s radio and television airways by the oversized American news networks, and taught in our public schools to our children. President Reagan’s conservative economic policies kept gas prices under control, and our economy boomed during that time because the price of oil and gas in the US was still reasonably priced. Now the spiraling price of gas, and the effect that it is having on rising the price of goods and services is unstoppable. President Reagan knew this would happen when he left office. When promoting his economic policies he kept telling everyone, “STAY THE COURSE”, duh!  The higher cost of living, and the resulting hither interest rates in our nation is why homeowners are struggling to make payments on their home mortgages. For the last three presidencies, our leaders in congress have managed to allow our foreign oil dependency to increase from 30% to the current import level of eighty percent. That is a fifty percent increase that has occurred ever since all the liberal media began conveying the false impression in the 1980’s, that President Reagan’s energy and economic growth agenda was not wanted, or needed, by the American people.
